We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative (Equipment) to join our team on our journey for a better tomorrow. Your role

Your mission as an Inside Sales Representative is to manage the direct sales activity of Quincy equipment, expedite customer orders, and serve as the primary liaison between the customer and the external sales team. While always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer, the Inside Sales Representative takes whatever action is appropriate and required with all people/employees considered necessary to get the job done. You will report to the Regional Sales Manager.

  • You will prepare quotes for Quincy equipment and upsell customers to advanced equipment.
  • You will secure orders by obtaining purchase orders from customers.
  • You will process credit approvals.
  • You will make outbound sales calls to route customers, drifted accounts, and prospects.
  • You will maintain all paperwork and ensure POs, orders, quotes, etc. are maintained to ensure prompt customer follow-up and compliance with company procedures.
  • You will be responsible for phone sales of call-in and walk-in customers, including selling equipment and deferring leads to outside salespeople.
  • You will help with local marketing efforts, such as mailers, phone campaigns, etc. as directed by the VP of Equipment Sales.
  • You will maintain accurate customer information in Salesforce (CRM).
  • You will maintain accurate machine and parts information.
  • You will process returns of unused and/or incorrect parts and update Salesforce accordingly.
To succeed, you need
  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in business or relevant technical field (preferred).
  • You have 1 year of relevant sales support experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • You are sales and customer-service oriented.
  • You can travel by airline; nationally and internationally.
  • You have excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbaland written communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • You know Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • You have SAP and SFDC experience.
