Log-Tech Cooker Technician (2nd or 3rd shift)

Seneca Foods in Clyman, Wisconsin is currently seeking a Log-Tech Cooker Technician to join our team. Seneca Foods offers an excellent benefit package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K, paid time off and much more! Help us make our Farm Fresh Goodness Great!

Full responsibility for the operation of a multi-functional food processing system, making the appropriate decisions for maintaining production goals. Effectively interact with all functional areas of the business as necessary. Evaluate current processes to propose process improvements.

Responsibilities:



  • Operate all Log-Tech processing equipment and controls to process food products according to established Seneca Procedures.
  • Understand and operate PC based control systems to maintain product flow.
  • Troubleshoot equipment as necessary (monitoring and debugging).
  • Analyze and interpret process data, maintaining all required documentation.
  • Solve technical issues quickly to maintain production levels in a fast paced work environment.
  • Work with other functional areas/departments to resolve processing issues.
  • Perfom other duties as assigned by supervision.



Qualifications



  • Requires a minimum of a High School Education or equivalent.
  • Requires experience in operating heavy process machinery and advanced industrial machine controls.
  • Must have experience with mechanical/electrical system products, testing, documentation and manufacturing.
  • Previous work experience with computer based processing equipment.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
