This opportunity is located within our EnviroLogix business that develops and manufactures testing solutions for detecting GMOs, mycotoxins, plant pathogens, natural toxins and chemical contaminants in multiple agricultural matrices. Job Description Responsibilities: The selected candidate will work within our Software Development team to create a formal Software Quality Management System (QMS) for EnviroLogix. This position will involve categorization of software information assets across multiple applications, administration of user access controls, and automation of process workflows to support efficient, long-term maintenance of the solution. The intern will work with two sub-teams who separately develop Windows-native and Cloud-based applications to support on-site grain testing and global data management operations, respectively. The primary responsibility of this position will be to learn the technical nuances of both platforms and well as industry standards for software documentation, and ultimately deliver a QMS that can be leveraged internally to accelerate software development, or externally to support auditability requirements. Requirements: Qualified candidates will be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Computer Science, Quality Management, Computational Biology, or another related field. Candidates enrolled in a Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering or other Biology-focused field with interests in software documentation and data engineering are encouraged to apply. Qualified candidates will be self-starters who can work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
