Summary of Position |
Responsibilities for this position include: 1) teaching 4 courses per AY and advising undergraduate and graduate social work courses both in-person and online courses, 2) developing a program of research with a preferred focus that includes promoting health and public health needs of populations socially vulnerable and historically marginalized communities, and 3) engaging in service activities within and outside of
UNH. Additionally, candidates should have experience or the ability to teach courses related to Human Behavior in the Social Environment, Research Methods, Social Work Practice, and/or Race, Culture and Oppression. Faculty will be expected to teach weekdays, evenings, and across undergraduate and graduate programs in in-person and online. |

Requirements for Assistant Professor Position
MSW degree and/or PhD in Social Work from a CSWE accredited institution- Earned doctorate in social work or a related field,
- Evidence of successful undergraduate and/or graduate teaching experience (in-person or online),
- A defined program of research, with the potential for successful extramural funding,
- A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in both university campus and community settings with faculty, staff, students, and community groups of diverse backgrounds, and
A minimum of two years of post
MSW practice experience is preferred. |
