Overview

Orrick currently has an excellent opportunity for a Cyber eDiscovery Lead with 2 - 6 years of experience to join our Orrick Analytics team. Successful candidates will be established in our Global Operations & Innovation Center (GOIC) in Wheeling, WV and consideration given for 100% remote locations.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced cybersecurity and eDiscovery professional to join. In this role, you will use your expertise to assist with cyber incident response and lead post-breach e-discovery services for clients.



Responsibilities

    Assist attorneys with cyber incident response and advise clients on data mining and notification processes.
  • Manage complex, advanced review and processing matters, including forensic data collections, ECA culling workflows, and Relativity Assisted Review
  • Work with legal teams and vendors to manage document review and identification of individuals impacted by cyber incidents.
  • Utilize early case assessment technology to analyze, categorize, and cull data.
  • Manage teams of professionals performing document review, analysis, and creation of breach notification deliverables.
  • Develop and implement custom processes, procedures, and technologies to assist clients who are victims of cyberattacks and create response plans to efficiently execute notification to individuals and regulators.
  • Work on high-profile litigation and data breach incident response matters.
  • Advise clients on eDiscovery strategies throughout the EDRM process.
  • Gain a deep understanding of clients' needs to facilitate streamlined workflows and meet deadlines.


Qualifications

  • JD or relevant experience in cybersecurity or eDiscovery.
  • Proven experience using technology and project management skills to assist with cyber incident response and resulting eDiscovery projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience managing and working with vendors.
  • Proficiency in eDiscovery tools and technologies.
  • Ability to develop data mining strategies and budgets.
  • Ability to creatively and practically solve large data problems.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected salary range for this position is between $150,000.00 and $200,000.00.

Orrick is committed to providing a comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtful total compensation package to our attorneys and staff, wherever they work. This compensation and benefits information is based on the Orrick's estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include, but not limited to, qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, geography. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, which would be determined by Firm and individual performance.
