Job Details: Job Summary: Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the Senior Director, Verification & Validation (V&V) will lead all Cubic V&V activities ensuring deliverables meet or exceed stakeholder's requirements. Responsible for establishing and operating a world class Verification & Validation function that delivers quality product to Cubic standards. Responsible for ensuring the test assets of the company are appropriately identified, planned, organized, safeguarded and utilized. Manages all V&V processes and practices across Cubic and will establish the V&V strategy of the company, ensure that test tools, processes and methodologies are best practice and ensure first class test performance and quality. This position typically works under limited supervision and direction. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Minimum Job Requirements: Four-year college degree in Engineering or similar discipline, plus at least twelve years' test management experience in a software test environment.Prior exposure in software design and/or a test qualification is a plus. Test automation and transformation experience across global business environments a big plus. Experience with complex software and hardware-based systems a plus. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail oriented and ability to perform ground level work as well as coordinate with teammates from remote locations. Ability to work with various functions in a matrix organization, and strong aptitude in influencing change and driving innovation. Must be able to motivate and lead change through creating a clear vision, gaining stakeholder ownership, showing value, and delivering results. Proven record of building and operating high performance teams, growing existing talent and fostering growth and innovation. Ability to inspire set and drive vision for the test organization. Must be available for domestic and international travel, sometimes for extended periods of time.
