Overview

SCCI is seeking a Configuration Management (CM) Analyst I to join our team! In this position, you will be proactively engaged providing varied CM support as a member of the Training Tools Team, supporting Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC) and providing Warfighting Scenarios to AEGIS ships. You will also be responsible for executing high quality CM processes for existing and future products. The successful candidate will provide necessary documentation packages for ship training scenarios developed in Aegis Combat Training System (ACTS), Advanced Training Domain (ATD), and Battle Force Tactical Training System (BFTT). This position is located in Dahlgren, VA.

Responsibilities:



  • Input scenario training media data into the Navy's Advanced Configuration Control and Engineering Status System (ACCESS) database, as well as Security Information Management System (SIMS)
  • Generate transmittal's, destruction certificates, media status reports, and inventory lists in ACCESS and SIMS as needed
  • Capture Meeting Minutes to include action items for Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) distribution in accordance with Contract Deliverable (CDRL) items
  • Perform Quality Assurance of configuration data and classified media items to ensure accuracy
  • Generate/update briefs/presentations and attend meetings as required
  • Execute and update a change management process for multiple product lines utilizing best practices
  • Assist in updating Documentation Packages in conjunction with current Scenario Library revision changes across multiple Training Systems
  • Provide Ship's Systems Test Officer (STO) delivery notifications, new product release information, and assistance with media issues
  • Review and combine operations intelligence briefings from multiple sources to develop critical team briefings.
  • Provide metrics to supervisor on a weekly basis via activity reports and CDRLs including deliveries and meeting agendas/minutes
  • Employ technical expertise to assist in the development and maintenance of CM processes, policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on program requirements


Essential Skills and Experience:



  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active Secret Security Clearance
  • High School Diploma
  • Two (2) - Four (4) years of CM experience
  • Knowledge of CM principles, methods, and techniques
  • Excellent oral communication skills: Must possess ability and willingness to present technical material to Navy leadership at the 0-6/ Flag/SES level (department heads, program office, etc.), and correspond across all organizational levels to include co-workers, managers and government customers
  • Proficient with MS Office tools, primarily MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Pro
  • Ability to write clear, logically sequenced, and grammatically correct documents
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, work well independently and in a team environment
  • Dependable, self-starter with strong technical skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Good organizational, task tracking, and follow up skills
  • Must be able to interface with customers, management, and employees
  • Must have attention to detail, a drive for results, and care about quality of work



Preferred Skills and Experience:



  • Experience related to Aegis and Ship's Self Defense System weapons and training systems and Navy programs
  • Familiarity of Aegis and Ship's Self Defense System ship training and Baseline complexities or USN experience
  • Previous experience in a classified work environment dealing with classified documentation
