Associate Professor of Language, Diveristy & Literacy Studies 39049BR EDUC Curriculum and Instruction Gen Position Description The Department of Curriculum & Instruction in the College of Education at Texas Tech University invites applications for a full-time, 9-month tenure-track Advanced Assistant/Associate Professor in Curriculum & Instruction within the Language, Diversity & Literacy Studies Track with a focus in Early Literacy education to begin September 1, 2025. This position requires a strong educational background in early literacy and knowledge of teaching young multilingual learners. The position requires the ability to teach master's and doctoral courses both face-to-face and online. About the Department/School/Area The Language, Diversity & Literacy Studies program is a dynamic program that addresses several needs in K-12 educational settings and domains of research. We have a track in the Curriculum & Instruction Ph.D. We also have a master's degree in Language & Literacy. The program's faculty have diverse expertise in applied linguistics, sociolinguistics, bi-/multilingual education, literacy, composition studies, and creative writing.
