Overview
The Work Authorization Unit of the Contract Administration Bureau at the Agency of Transportation is looking to fill an AOT Administrative Services Manager III position. The position will oversee and provide accounting and auditing processes to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, adherence to the contract, and work authorizations. Work Authorizations are issued within this Unit in coordination with Project and Contract Managers, ensuring orderly means of tracking post- contract execution actions. Responsibilities also include detailed review and verification of invoices against the contract and associated work authorization. Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is preferred. This is a supervisory position. A hybrid telework schedule may be available after o-boarding and in person training is complete. Who May Apply

Work is performed in a standard office setting. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or a related field AND three (3) years or more of experience providing professional administrative-level services to a business or organization which included an accounting or budgeting function and experience as a supervisor of clerical or administrative staff. OR Bachelor's degree in any discipline AND five (5) years or more of experience providing professional administrative-level services to a business or organization which included an accounting or budgeting function and experience as a supervisor of clerical or administrative staff. OR Associate's degree in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or a related field AND five (5) years or more of experience providing professional administrative-level services to a business or organization which included an accounting or budgeting function and experience as a supervisor of clerical or administrative staff. OR High School diploma AND seven (7) years or more of experience providing professional administrative-level services to a business or organization which included an accounting or budgeting function and experience as a supervisor of clerical or administrative staff. OR One (1) year or more of experience as an Administrative Services Manager II with the State of Vermont. Special Requirements
For some positions experience working with the VISION system (VISION is the State of Vermont PeopleSoft financial management system) may be required. Total Compensation
