Job Description
The Associate Maintenance Manager is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for the production maintenance group. This role will provide maintenance leadership to deliver a world-class operation. Lead, motivate, and develop employees to achieve outstanding manufacturing results, while leveraging Continuous Improvement (Lean/TPM) tools, improving individual skills, and enhancing teamwork. The Associate Maintenance Manager will also be responsible for driving standards and consistency across the maintenance department. Function as a technical and business resource in areas of system operations and production requirements. - Lead/manage approximately 4-5 direct reports or maintenance professionals and team leaders
- Educate, develop, and motivate the Maintenance team to achieve required departmental results, improving individual technical skills and enabling collaboration across boundaries
- Ensure company and government standards for quality, sanitation, and safety are met
- Establish and sustain sound relationships with employees to foster an innovative environment
- Provide business leadership which demonstrates commitment to department and plant objectives
- Facilitate, coach, counsel, and guide the Maintenance team to use continuous improvement tools and strategies to ensure results are delivered year over year
- Function as a technical resource for system operations and product requirements
- Facilitate effective communication between work groups, cross-functional resources, and other members of the plant and corporate teams
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field OR 3+ years of Maintenance Manager experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication and listening skills
- Ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting work priorities, ambiguity, adversity and change
- Demonstrated understanding of technology and ability to create solutions to technical challenges
- Strong conceptual skills and ability to implement change
- Sound analytical and business judgment including demonstrated problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills
- Ability to plan, lead, and execute strategic initiatives in a complex environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or maintenance related role
- Experience with contractors

The salary range for this position is $79500.00 - $119400.00 / Annually.
