High School Diploma, GED or equivalent 5 years or more experience of the build or maintenance of complex hydraulic and electromechanical Test Systems and supporting infrastructure. A relevant vocational qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline as a minimum. Proficient with computer programs (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
Our team inSpace and Defense Groupis looking for aTestEquipment Sustainment Technicianto join them. You will report to the Product Assurance Lead and will have an onsite work schedule inChatsworth, CA. As aTestEquipment Sustainment Technician, you will:
Support the Test Equipment Sustainment Site Manager and Engineers with the completion of Sustainment activities on existing Test Equipment systems Operations facility. The test systems are comprised of mechanical, electronic, electrical, software and power distribution components. Co-ordinate with the Test Equipment Design and Project/NPI functions with respect to work packages as part of the maintenance, upgrade and sustainment of existing Test Equipment Systems. Timely investigation and resolution of issues creating a stop on production, a quality escape and / or reduced first pass yield. Perform sustainment activities to complete planned and non-routine maintenance for all Test Systems within the company, repairing down to component level, often with limited drawing cover. Understand and adhere to relevant regulations, standards or industry best practice in completion of maintenance or repair activities. Maintain the configuration of test equipment deployed for operational use at their facility. Maintain or create documentation during fault finding, maintenance or upgrade activities. Supervise and monitor, in accordance with contractor control and compliance requirements, 3rdparty contractors performing sustainment tasks at the Moog facility. Use the Moog Maintenance Management System to track work assignments and resolution findings. Support Root Cause investigations into all aspects of the Test Equipment System and/ or components as required. Support internal and external Quality Audits of deployed Test Systems or sub- components. Actively participate in site Lean activities to improve the function and site; this must be a continuous improvement program. Support the documentation of Standard Operations

Salary Range Transparency: Chatsworth, CA $30.00-$39.00 Hourly
