MOOG Space and Defensehas partnered with NASA to provide electronic solutions for the Artemis Orion Crew Capsule, Viper Lunar Rover, Satellite Laser Communications Relay, OSIRIS-REX to study asteroid composition along with complete satellite buses for the defense department.

Senior Contract Administrator

The Senior Contract Administrator monitors all activities related to meeting performance objectives on assigned contracts, interacts with Moog and customer personnel to ensure compliance with all contractual requirements to protect the company's legal position. When legal support or advice is required, the incumbent consults with Legal Counsel.

The Senior Contract Administrator is responsible for review of the contract to ensure consistency with the Moog proposal, and for job order entry into the Moog Business System. The incumbent is expected to provide proactive support to Program Management and Engineering on all matters related to meeting contractual obligations and drive all contractual matters to resolution. The Contract Administrator must possess strong motivational and organization skills and excellent oral and written communication skills. Also, the incumbent must be a demonstrated selfstarter with the ability to be highly productive on a variety of ongoing activities.

At a minimum, you will need to meet these qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferable Business Administration
  • 5-10 years of experience in Contract Administration on complex aerospace programs
  • An advanced degree in Law or an MBA is highly desirable
  • This position require access to export-controlled information.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance, required, or a current Secret level security clearance, desired.
  • As a government contractor, vaccination against Covid-19, or an approved religious/medical exemption, is a condition of employment for all U.S. employees.

Salary:

$67K - $92K

This position requires access to United States Export Controlled information.

The base pay range represents the low and high end of the Moog pay range or indicates the hourly rate for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on many factors such as skills, experience, certifications and performance. The rate listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include a profit share bonus, employee stock purchase plan, a flexible paid time off policy, competitive 401K plan with enhanced matching program, and many region-specific benefits.
