To be considered for this role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

Moog Inc. is looking for an experienced, highly motivated Quality Assurance Engineer who will be responsible for quote reviews for compliance and quality related cost assignment. As the Engineer you will use statistical/6 Sigma tools to improve/ maintain both internal and external quality, provide timely responses to both internal/ externalquality issues with emphasis on prevention and cascading lessons learned to other programs/ products. You can expectto develop and maintain quality documentation and test procedures, work with all facets of the organization to maintaincompliance to customer/ internal part and specification requirements and develop and maintain positive customerrelations which will require some travel. To be considered for the Quality Engineer role, here is what you will need to bring with you:
  • A Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering or technical field or have a two-year technical degree with three to five years of experience in a quality role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated team/relationship building skills.
  • To be able to work with Microsoft Office Applications.
  • The demonstrated ability to self-start as an individual and function efficiently in a team based manufacturing environment.
  • Preference will be given to applicants that have experience in motion control and electronic components; along with proficiency in document control pertaining to contract, industry, and other regulatory flow downs.
  • Consideration will be given for extensive use of computer applications, databases, macros, and other advanced computer skills.

Salary Range Transparency:

Blacksburg, VA $60,000.00-$75,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
