A week in the life of a US Navy SME includes:

• Serve as primary liaison officer with Fleet Synthetic Training (FST) requirements
• Build relationships with aviation units for fighter integration training
• Mission plan and serve as event SME
• Provide academics as required

• Bachelor's Degree and eight (8) to ten(10) years related experience; a combination of education and experience can be used in lieu of degree
• SECRET clearance
• Experience with USN Fighter Aircraft, USN Rotary Wing
• Experience with Navy Command and Control (E2)
• Naval Surface Warfare with integrated fires experience
• Fleet Forces Command or Naval HHQ staff experience/familiarization
