Together. Every day. CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer to join our Power & Manufacturing - Environmental Team at our office in Colonie, NY. YOUR IMPACT Better solutions start with a strong foundation. With decades of experience in exploring a wide range of soil, bedrock, and groundwater conditions, CHA's geotechnical team makes sure conditions are right for success. We evaluate the impacts of ground conditions for infrastructure projects and create sustainable geotechnical engineering solutions that consider final project cost, schedule and performance. Working closely with professional engineers, the Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer assists in the design development, implementation, and technical analysis of various systems to implement new products, or changes to an existing scheme, to suit individual client needs. At CHA, our Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer works on multiple projects in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet client, contractual and company requirements. The Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer performs field assignments for various geotechnical projects, gathers and documents subsurface data, observes construction and prepares field reports, and aids in preparing geotechnical engineering reports, contract documents and cost estimates for various tasks. The professional in this role performs simple calculations and engineering design using the standards established by federal, state, and local regulations, as well as the company, group, client, etc. The Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer solve routine problems by applying defined procedures. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field required
SALARY RANGE: $65,000 - $75,000 Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
