Description

Primary Purpose: To assist the warehouse with processing cross dock loads.

Essential Duties:



  • Load cross dock loads being delivered to other Dot distribution centers.
  • Responsible for noting damaged product while loading and unloading.
  • Responsible for verifying that each PO is correct according to vendor Bills of Lading and communicating when discrepancies are discovered.
  • Staging future PO's in the proper temperature zone and updating the correct tracking documents.
  • Sending communication for each load that is completed and alerting the correct groups when any issue is identified.


Safety Responsibility:

Assumes responsibility for the workplace safety of self and co-workers, and for the safety conditions of the work location.

Requirements:



  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Prefer good working knowledge and understanding of AS400.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and complete in a timely matter.
  • Detail focused.
  • Ability to work unsupervised, setting own priorities.
  • Able to operate warehouse equipment including, mule, and forklift.
  • PC experience and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
  • Ability to work in both frozen and dry environments.
  • Safety - Must comply with all Dot Foods, Inc. and OSHA safety requirements and policies.


Schedule: PM Shift: Tuesday - Friday
