Job Description

To assist the University Police Department with campus security, event security, and to promote safety on campus. People in this position may be required to direct traffic, park cars, control crowds, assist students/staff/faculty, communicate with the public, conduct security rounds, provide security at events, monitor door alarms, and preform additional duties that may be assigned.

People hired for this position must be observant, be able to clearly communicate on a police radio, and work all home football games.

Shift

Varies, based on events and times.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and some work experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary: $12.73 per hour

Grade: GGS-004

Agencies Policy on Reapplication:
