About the Role

Impact you will make

The primary focus of this position is to be a expert in technical testing and test automation. You will have a hands-on experience with test automation and expertise implementing automation using different tools. You will be responsible for understanding system architecture and designing integration tests across multiple applications. By using industry leading practices, data, and technology solutions the team builds quality into the software delivery life cycle. You will collaborate with technical owners and other stakeholders to help applications advance their automation maturity. What you will do



  • Collaborate with a scrum team to produce all the quality assurance deliverables including thoughtful development of test plans, test scenarios, and scripts; implementation of necessary test processes on projects; and execution of tests and analysis of test results
  • Participate in requirements refinements and design discussions with fellow developers and product analysts
  • Participate in planning by providing estimates on user stories
  • Participate in daily standup meeting and proactively provide status on tasks
  • Contribute to the technical detail documentation and creation of acceptance criteria in user stories
  • Perform both scripted and exploratory testing to ensure sufficient test coverage for all user stories
  • Recommend and build appropriate test automation where needed
  • Perform web service testing utilizing manual and automated methods
  • Define and generate test data needed to test workflows in A/R Optimizer
  • Maintain well organized records of test results
  • Use critical thinking skills and problem solving to solve technical challenges
  • Understand system architecture and perform test execution across application



What you will bring



  • 5+ years of technical QA experience
  • Expertise with all aspects of software testing including functional, exploratory and regression testing
  • Experience in testing web services (API's) using SoapUI, Postman or a similar tool
  • Experience using version control tools - preferably Git
  • Proven ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and processes
  • Problem solving skills, strong collaboration abilities, and a relentless improvement mindset
