Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Stage Crew Worker for the Mason Gross School of the Arts - Theater Arts department.

Among the key duties of the position are the following:

  • Handles scene, costume, sound, lighting, and/or properties.
  • Participates as part of carpentry, theatrical electricians, costume drapers/stitchers, backstage crew, or front of house staff during rehearsal and performance.

Qualifications


Minimum Education and Experience
  • High school/vocational school education or equivalent experience.
Certifications/Licenses
Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Professional experience in area of theatrical production or equivalent professional experience.

  • Hours vary from sporadic to the potential to exceed 20 hours a week on rare occasions.
