Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Daily Operations: Ensure the seamless running of the Learning Resource Center every day.
  • Welcome and Engage: Greet each student with enthusiasm and provide personalized support during their visits.
  • Report Insights: Communicate individual and emerging issues to management for prompt resolution.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all Learning Resource Center equipment is functioning optimally.
  • Track Usage: Maintain accurate records of student attendance and resource utilization.
  • Flexibility in Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the center's mission.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School or GED
  • Experience: 2-5 years of industry experience or completed education in Aviation, Welding, HVAC, or Robotics. In addition, being eligible to obtain an FAA A&P certificate or experience with trade programs offered at UTI Canton.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to connect with students and fellow staff effectively
  • Patience and Empathy: A patient and empathetic approach to tutoring on various subjects including Automotive, Aviation, and Welding.
  • Tech Savvy Expert: exceptional computer and online application skills to the forefront as you assist with check-ins and tech support.
