Do you have an interest in marketing strategy and possess strong organizational skills? This position is a key member of our sales team, working with Lamar account executives and customers to build innovative outdoor advertising campaigns that deliver results. Our Lamar office in La Crosse, Wisconsin is now hiring a new sales team member to help us bring effective outdoor advertising campaigns to life for brands in La Crosse, WI and the surrounding areas.

The purpose of the position is to perform key administrative duties and other division of labor support efforts for the Office Manager, the Sales Manager and the Operations Manager. This position will also focus on all responsibilities relating to the charting system including up to date information regarding inventory, pulling work orders and tracking posting materials. The position also performs in assisting the sales team with pre and post contract administrative functions as needed and as it relates to the sales process.

What we're looking for in YOU:

Education and experience:



  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2 years of related experience, preferably in sales, marketing, or administrative roles
  • Experience in data management and Gmail preferred
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

A day in the life:

Charting / Sales Administration:



  • Manage phone operator duties; greet the general public; route and resolve information requests.
  • Keep the charting system updated daily with new contract/client information and the POP system.
  • Report on a daily basis all postings and download all proof of performance photos and distribute accordingly.
  • Assist Sales Manager and Account Executives with administrative duties including proposals, contracts, photos, artwork orders, and material orders.
  • Resolve problems during the sales process by investigating; identifying solutions; notifying AE's, managers, and customers; being in constant communication with sales staff, and assisting daily where needed.
  • Coordinate and communicate panel locations in "to be determined" situations.


Social Media/Digital Content:



  • Responsible for developing Lamar's social media strategy.
  • Brainstorm and develop relevant content that will help increase social interaction, promote brand identity, and drive traffic to the local website.
  • Update social media content/posting calendar.
  • Stay up to date on social media trends.


Physical demands and work environment:



  • The primary work environment is an office.
  • The specific physical demands/requirements of the job include: lifting less than 25% of the time, reading, color distinction, acuity, sitting greater than 50% of the time, and talking.
  • The typical percentage of time spent traveling and spending nights away from home is less
    than 10%.
