Position Summary |
Experience working with economically disadvantaged youth and strong commitment to the goals of the Talent Search project. This employee will recruit, select, and orientate potential program participants. This individual will assist in the development/implementation of program objectives, participate in the selection/evaluation of program staff. |

- Practical knowledge of students who are first-generation students, and low-income students.
- Communicate effectively across a range of stakeholders, such as students, faculty, staff, administrators, and external entities.
- Work in a collaborative atmosphere.
- Excellent written, oral, and/or visual communication skills.
- Flexibility to work during peak program/summer hours, including nights and weekends.

- Coordinate recruitment, selection and orientation of project participants, outreach activities and participants.
- Assessment and prescribing participant services and plan activities in community agencies and target schools.

- Maintains accurate up to date records and documentation of assessment and placement which includes maintaining a data base, academic records, contacts, exit information and evaluations.
- Arranged academic support services provides individual , group and career counseling sessions to meet participant needs.
