Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent from an accredited university
  • Five plus years of progressively responsible experience in finance/accounting system and data interpretation with an aptitude for learning new software.
  • Three plus years managing financial system projects with end-to-end lifecycles or other supervisory experience desired.
  • Experience with Oracle Databases (IFS a plus), PowerBI, PBCS, data integration, data visualization, Blackline, PBCS as well as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook.
  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and complex consolidations.
  • Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills across different departments and cultures.
  • Work with minimal up-front guidance and take ownership of his / her work product.


Supervisory Responsibilities: This position may have direct reports.

Work Environment:



  • Office environment; exposure to computer screens.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Required hybrid work schedule, at least 3 days/week in office.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

The Financial Systems Manager is a skilled and driven individual responsible for overseeing financial systems and producing reporting solutions for the company's accounting and financial reporting requirements. The position will also coordinate with business partners and supervise staff to ensure timely and accurate reporting to end users.



  • Work cross-functionally to assesses the needs of the business, prioritize projects and drive new reporting requirements to completion.
  • Support the business, finance functions, and IT on a suite of enterprise applications. Applications include Oracle PBCS, Blackline, and IFS, the Company's enterprise resource planning system.
  • Gather and translate business reporting requirements to technical requirements while delivering context analysis and suggestions to the user community.
  • Work with teams and leaders across the company to ensure finance applications are compliant and operating per requirements.
  • Engage in the development and improvement of business information systems and analytic solutions.
  • Organize and direct workflow analysis to define and document requirements, design, develop, test and implement system and reporting solutions.
  • Supervise the QA process.
  • System administration including monthly maintenance, including scenario / version rollovers and accurate synchronization / integration of data from financial and HR systems
  • Review report development processes with a goal of improving performance, reliability, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, in writing and in verbal presentations, to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Provide training to new users and ongoing skill enhancement training to existing users; create and update training materials, as needed
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the general ledger structure.
  • Develop and document business processes and policies to maintain and strengthen controls.
  • Maintain financial security through internal controls.
  • Provides guidance and development to new and existing staff as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
