Job Summary

With a focus on growth, you will manage and support the relationships with our existing, industrial customer base. You will develop opportunities that improve the operations of their, existing water assets and seek to expand your customer base by seeking new customers who could benefit from Veolia products and services.

What you will be doing:

You will become a member of the best commercial organization in the water business: using curiosity and creativity to grow a quality pipeline, clearly defining needs/wants through a customer lens, developing/managing commercial plans with a focus on growth, and negotiating contracts that benefit our customers and our business. You will benefit from strong emotional intelligence with abilities to support and provide guidance to a multi-discipline team. Demonstrated success in all aspects of the role

will result in future opportunities in commercial and business roles with possibilities of increased complexity and management responsibilities.

Essential Functions

Identify needs and create partnerships with existing VEOLIA and new customers.

Manage and drive the entire sales process including lead generation, qualifying of opportunities, forecasting, coordinate/generate proposals and closing deals

Support VEOLIA WTS Regional Services team with verifying high quality execution of contracts, financial reconciliation of contracts, and augmenting customer relationships

Accurately define opportunities including client benefits/KPIs, customer assets, scope, key deliverables, timing

Lead negotiations with support from regional services team, legal, finance and HR

Foster a strong partnership with other VEOLIA WTS commercial teams to maximize synergy with their accounts and growth initiatives

Develop and maintain an advanced knowledge of all Suez WTS products and service offerings

Additional Responsibilities

Create and manage a strategic growth plan that details sales strategies and regional, market and customer focus

Forecast and actively track sales and report historic success of these sales versus plan

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be self-driven with a strong affinity for helping others find success and a deep desire to develop creative, customer-focused solutions. You enjoy solving technical problems and use your inquisitive nature to build an understanding of what success means to others.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree, Engineering, Technical or related program experience

As least 5 years demonstrated successful client services, relationship management and/or sales experience working with industrial customers within the water and wastewater treatment industry Ability to effectively present ideas and information through the spoken and written word Operations, maintenance, piloting, service, and/or design experience in the Water and Wastewater treatment industry

Creative collaborative and self-directed, strong listening skills

Proficient computer skills including the use of Salesforce, CIT, Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point or other similar tools

Experience in the application of the principals of "Strategic Selling" (Miller Heiman) or similar sales strategies
