Job Description

Job Summary

In this role you will assemble analytical instruments, as well as specific components of the final assembly, made to exact tolerances using ISO work instructions, engineering schematics, and customer orders. This is a 100% on-site role located in Boulder, CO.

Key Characteristics

  • Mechanical skills in order to assemble and test a variety of sub-assemblies, assemblies, and instruments.
  • Ability to operate electronic test equipment such as multimeters.
  • Computer literacy to be able to operate computer systems utilized in collecting data, access the business system, and making labels.
  • Ability to be flexible and respond appropriately to workload changes.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform final assembly and associated sub-assemblies in order to complete units or systems according to customer specifications and BOMs, including safely powering up and testing finished assemblies.
  • Work from production drawings, final assembly blueprints, and/or verbal and written
  • instructions with minimum supervision.
  • Complete necessary paperwork to assure work order, quality assurance, and labor tracking
  • requirements are fulfilled.
  • Ensure that stock items are available on the production floor utilizing the Kanban system.
  • Follow all Environmental, Health and Safety regulation, as defined, including wearing personal protective equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor/lead
Qualifications

Education & Experience

Required:

  • High school diploma required

Preferred:

  • 1 year or more working experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
  • Precision assembly work experience, including soldering

Working Conditions

  • Regularly use hand tools, calibrated tools, analytical instrumentation, computers
  • Grasping, Grip, Handling - frequent
  • Repetitive motions and noise - occasionally
  • Ability to carry/pull/push/lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to sit/stand/walk majority of the workday
