About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SUD Psychotherapist to join our Team. As a SUD Psychotherapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychotherapy services to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. Your primary goal will be to help clients achieve and maintain sobriety, improve their mental health, and enhance their overall quality of life. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field
  • Active DC Independent Clinical licensure (LICSW, LPC, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist)
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy services to individuals with substance use disorders
  • Knowledge of evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions for substance use disorders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Experience providing trauma-informed care
  • Experience working with diverse populations

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of client's mental health and substance use disorders
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions
  • Providing individual, group, and family therapy services to clients
  • Monitoring clients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care

Skills:

As a SUD Psychotherapist, you will utilize your strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions to provide high-quality care to clients. You will need to be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and communicate effectively with clients and their families. Additionally, you will need to be able to adapt your approach to meet the unique needs of each client and be comfortable working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Your ability to provide trauma-informed care and your bilingual skills will be highly valued in this role.
