Summary

Responsible for creating, vetting, completing, and escalating (as needed) of incidents/requests entered into the service management system, maintains inventory system for both equipment check-out and asset management, and escalate issues in a timely fashion. Provides front line tech support complementing and mentoring the student technology workforce. Collaboration with other IT team members to resolve technical issues is expected.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Provides support for technical issues and initiatives related to assigned applications, systems, databases and/or other technical products and services.
- Install, configure, customize to established specifications desktop workstations, application software, and peripheral devices for office, lab, and mobile use.
- Use equipment request system, delivery and setup of audiovisual and other technologies for internal and external events as requested and required.
- Setup and maintain classroom technology.
- Assist instructors and users of equipment on proper use.
- Document and update solutions and create knowledge base articles as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Associates degree with 2-3 years in a technical service desk environment
