Do you have experience as a commercial real estate loan closer, which includes closing retail, industrial, multi-family and office transactions? Our Investment Mortgage real estate team is growing. In this role you will work independently yet part of a talented team. Here is your chance to join a continually growing closing team and a great company.



WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:



  • Location: Remote, Hybrid, or In-Office
  • Estimated Salary:$66,500- $86,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.
  • Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion.
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2024, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally you will receive two floating holidays in 2024 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:



  • Responsible for successful execution of the commercial closing process from approval of signed loan application through funding/closing, and receipt of recorded documents.
  • Responsible for scheduling and facilitating kick-off call and any needed status calls during the closing process which include lender, borrower, correspondent team, and title company.
  • Responsible for managing the closing checklist and ensuring commitment requirements are satisfied prior to loan closing and funding.
  • Responsible for review, comment, and approval of property management agreements.
  • Review, analyze, request revisions, and approve third-party reports to insure consistent, accurate information and to make sound business decisions. (This includes zoning, appraisal, property condition, seismic, and Phase I reports.)
  • Request, review, comment, and approve commercial settlement statements prior to closing.
  • Successfully close commercial loan transactions in a timely manner meeting closing dates and ensuring an efficient closing experience for sponsor clients.



WHAT YOU'LL BRING:



  • Experience in closing commercial real estate transactions, including retail, industrial, multi-family, and office.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment and manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to proactively manage the commercial closing process and activities.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, within a team or across internal and external business areas.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and consultative skills to coordinate and communicate on commercial loan closing activities with internal and external business partners.
  • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Expected to attend in-office weeks 2-4 times a year.



PREFERRED:



  • Previous experience as a commercial real estate paralegal closer.
  • A sound understanding of commercial loan documents, commercial organizational documents and charts, commercial title and survey, and commercial tenant leases/estoppels/SNDAs.
  • Experience with review, assessment, and approval of search results.
  • Knowledge of required commercial insurance, including review, requests for revisions, and approval of commercial insurance packages.
