ENGINEERING MANAGER

We are currently seeking an Engineering Manager with the following qualifications:

Professional Attributes



  • Support existing processes and recommend changes to enhance quality and productivity while improving profitability
  • Monitor new product opportunities and manage timely completion of projects through project design, manufacturing processes, quality and BOM development
  • Direct the creation of detailed BOM instructions for new products, specifications for packaging, external supplier specifications and instructions for manufacturing
  • Ensure new project activities are timely and within budget and make necessary corrections when applicable
  • Organize and direct product plans and specifications for projects, engineering systems, equipment, staffing and components
  • Supervise new product projects by reviewing design, specifications, plan/schedule changes and recommending actions
  • Prepare project status reports, summarizing information/trends and communication actions
  • Other duties as assigned


Desired Skills and Experience



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 3 - 5 years of manufacturing experience preferably in the plastic injection industry
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, active listening
  • Detail orientated
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities (multi-task)
