Position Overview: As a Senior Database Administrator, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing efficient data solutions for our large, highly transactional enterprise system. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around designing cloud databases and need technical skills to write programming scripts, create tables, and set instructions for backing up data. Experience with FDA JAADE Admin Apps required.

Domain experience with Federal Government customer organizations and programs is required. Must be USC/GC/EAD with ability to obtain a public trust clearance.

  • Duties:
    • Create/modify complex DB scripts
    • Develop/modify Oracle views
    • Investigate/analyze data discrepancies, provide results of analysis, develop a plan to resolve discrepancies and resolve discrepancies
    • Develop, enhance and maintain Oracle Database and schemas
    • Provide recommendations for modernizations and enhancements
    • Maintain/update data dictionary, logical and physical database models
    • Refresh data
  • Qualification
    • 7+ years of demonstrated experience with designing and maintaining Oracle Databases
    • Demonstrated experience working on Agile Scrum Projects
    • 7+ years of demonstrated experience analyzing database requirements within an object relational database system, such as ORACLE RDBM.
    • Ability to communicate complex data and applications, and integration around new and existing Oracle views and API's
    • 7+ years of demonstrated experience analyzing and determining information needs and elements, database relationships and attributes, proposed manipulation, data flow and storage requirements, and data output and reporting capabilities.
    • 7+ years of demonstrated experience planning and implementing database migrations and integrations.
    • 7+ years of demonstrated experience modernizing databases as well as migrating and maintaining databases withing the cloud.
    • Demonstrated experience writing, implementing, and verifying DB scripts for data migration
    • Experience with FDA JAADE Admin Apps
