The Team Public Sector Alliances: This individual will manage SLED West Alliances for Okta and support our SLED West sales team of 6-7 Account Executives as we co-sell to SLED customers. The Opportunity Sr. Regional Alliance Manager SLED West, Reporting to the Area Vice President, Public Sector Alliances. This role will be responsible for all partnering activities with our SLED partner ecosystem and build and manage a thriving, growth-focused SLED partner ecosystem. What you'll be doing Work with Okta's Executive, Regional Alliances, Marketing and Sales teams to identify key SLED/Public Sector partners, build a strategic plan for initiating conversations and selling the value of a mutually beneficial working relationship to those partners, and drive the structure of partnerships Define tailored value propositions and create detailed go-to-market plans that strengthen our value proposition to the marketplace while providing new revenue opportunities with our resellers, solution providers and occasionally ISV partners Serve as the partner advocate inside Okta; evangelize partners and the opportunities they present by injecting partner DNA into Okta What you'll bring to the role Seasoned revenue generation track record driving sales in both direct and Alliances roles selling into the SLED(West) space Public sector Alliances success with a rolodex of GSI and Regional SLED(West) partners and their key executives and sales leaders Strong history of building and driving pipeline generation at the field level with Okta and partner sales organization And extra credit if you have experience in any of the following! 10+ years of high-tech business development or alliances experience at a software company, successfully implementing channel/field alliances strategy to drive dramatically increased sales Ability to formulate a partnership vision, strategy, and execution plan A business leader who is able to drive influence and build strong relationships with decision makers across all levels of partner and prospect organizations Cyber Security Saas / Identity Experience This role requires in-person onboarding and travel to our San Francisco, CA HQ office during the first week of employment. #LI-RZ1- Remote Below is the annual On Target Compensation (OTE) range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual OTE, which is inclusive of base salary and incentive compensation, will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable) and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies.
