Product Owner/ Business Analyst

Peraton is looking for a highly motivated Product Owner or Business Analyst to join our Veterans Affairs VBA COE team to help develop and support Veterans Benefits Administration business stakeholders in a fast paced and high energy Agile development environment. As a Product Owner, you will work in a highly collaborative environment interfacing with Salesforce developers, Scrum masters and Quality Assurance Testers to help deliver critical Salesforce solutions for our customer. Specifically, drive SaaS/PaaS solution delivery in support of customer workstreams, testing strategy as well as creating, maintaining, executing solutions.

What you'll do:

You will be playing a pivotal role in shaping our SaaS/PaaS capabilities, work with various business and technology stakeholders and be part of the VBA center of excellence.
• Develops new product specifications, follows product from initial development through all stages to product launch.
• Assesses needs and opportunities for new products through research and feasibility analysis.
• Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
• Analyzes business and processes to formulate and develop new and modified business capabilities, as they relate to the SaaS/PaaS environment.
• Works independently or as a member of project teams responsible for providing guidance related to the business implications of the various systems.
• Creates process change when needed by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating these changes to impacted teams.
• Has specialized experience in modeling business processes and requirements.
• Elaborate on and write user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Write test scripts for the customer to utilize while performing User Acceptance Testing.
• Ensure business stakeholders are completing user acceptance testing and obtain approval to release to production.
• Assist in ensuring that sprint goals are met each sprint.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's with 2 Years experience or 6 years' experience in lieu of degree
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance.
• Must be U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3-5 Years of experience in SaaS/PaaS testing, specifically Salesforce
• Ability to independently drive projects and outcomes, work with minimal supervision. Strong problem solving, critical thinking, organization, and communication skills. Must be flexible to learn / adapt new projects as required.
• Team player who can work with different teams in the organization in a seamless manner.
