THE ROLE:

We are seeking a Marketing Communications Manager to join our team to operationalize and assist in developing the messaging and media strategy for our NTSG - Network Technology Solutions Group (Formerly Pensando) portfolio of networking products and optimization services. You will be chartered with developing a comprehensive understanding of current and future industry trends/products to be a key contributor in positioning AMD to be the leader in those markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and deploy integrated and innovative messaging across various digital media/platforms that align with the AMD brand and present compelling information and stories that weave BU portfolio together with AMD's broader story.
  • Write editorials, campaign messaging, develop marketing/sales decks, build and test emails, landing pages, manage assets, and create and manage project plans and the workflows that support these.
  • Plan, develop and implement paid media strategies across brand, business units and geographies in partnership with our media agency.
  • Evaluate and build upon existing programs through strategic direction, strategy, and content development.
  • Support business development by contributing to the development of go-to-market and partner messaging and work closely with sales to align on campaign follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with the PR, creative, and content teams to ensure seamless integration of social media into client campaigns that align with business goals and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Align with business objectives. Ensure that marketing activities are aligned with the business unit and company's overall objectives.
  • Manage the business unit's marketing database, establish and monitor KPIs, track, attribute, and analyze marketing performance to maximize ROI.
  • Reporting on campaign performance to inform future strategies.
  • Maintain compliance with legal standards in marketing communications.
  • Work closely with our Insights/Analytics teams, leveraging analyst input for more sophisticated, cross-channel content marketing strategies and approach.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of key customers and partners' businesses, verticals, voice, preferences, and operational nuances.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, digital marketing trends, and best practices to keep our content marketing efforts effective and/or innovative. This includes the impact of AI on content generation, dissemination, and consumption.
  • Proactively develop and pitch ideas to the business unit and partners.
  • Serve as the point of integration across our internal creative and web services and our external agencies and vendors.
  • Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Serve as the ultimate guardian of content quality, ensuring all our deliverables meet the highest standards in both writing and strategy.
  • Design, document, and recommend processes that improve internal efficiency, optimize productivity, reduce costs, ensure quality, and elevate the customer/partner experience.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial, or related field. Previous experience within journalism or publishing is beneficial and advantageous.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills, including proficiency in AP style.
  • Proven record of developing and executing successful content marketing and editorial strategies.
  • Strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape, including paid, earned, and social media.
  • Hands on experience with planning and implementing a successful global digital media strategy and managing media agencies with global accounts.
  • Expert knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) and inbound marketing concepts.
  • Practical experience with common marketing technology/applications (i.e., Salesforce, Adobe Experience Manager, Marketo, Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.).
  • Proficiency in web-based project management software (i.e., Workfront, Smartsheet, MS Project, etc.).
  • Strong foundational understanding of technology industry, players, and trends, especially in the datacenter or networking spaces.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
  • Consistent ability to meet deadlines, adjust priorities, and work on multiple projects simultaneously

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
Bachelor or Master's degree in related discipline preferred

At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position. You may be eligible for incentives based upon your role such as either an annual bonus or sales incentive.
