Responsibilities:

• Obtain prior authorizations.
• Answer and triage all calls that come into the pod.
• Answer all calls promptly making sure to follow protocol
• Respond to voice mail messages promptly
• Schedule appointments according to scheduling rules
• Re-book appointments per patient request or doctor schedule change
• Enter valid referral if needed
• Attach referral to visit upon patient check in
• If there is no referral on file on day of visit, please verify by checking.
• Respond to special requests from doctors
• File correspondences in chart
• Faxing copying, scanning
• Triage calls for medical assistants
• Maintain organization of the common areas
• Assist Clinic Manager and Front office supervisor when needed
• Assist patients to ensure their visit to our practice is a pleasant one
• Work as a TEAM
