Office of the Registrar

Job Description

The Data Integrity Assistant position in the Office of the Registrar plays a significant role in the support of the University's Student Information System (SIS) Pathway. This position manages daily processing tasks that are critical to University functions. These tasks are high in volume, complex in nature, and require consistency and accuracy to enter, maintain, and audit data in the SIS.

The selected candidate must be comfortable working as a team member and managing demands of multiple and changing competing priorities. This individual must strive for excellence, accuracy and have a passion for solving problems in a team environment. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and able to work collaboratively when needed.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Follow policies and procedures in maintaining the quality and integrity of data entered in the student system, i.e. making sure data is entered correctly, completely, and consistently.
  • Process documents and reports, records data, and files materials. Point person for scanning and linking documents to student records.
  • Review and process transactions and edits in Pathway to ensure data integrity. This includes, but is not limited to, social security number updates, continuing education enrollments, citizenship/residency updates, and academic standing updates.
  • Process updates and edits for enrollments and withdraws in the National Student Clearinghouse. This includes ad-hoc updates and error resolution report updates.
  • Coordinate with leadership to provide ad-hoc support for various projects throughout the year. This may include census edits, data reporting, and user acceptance testing for different software upgrades and implementations.
  • Support the Associate Registrar with athletic academic certification process.
  • Assist the Degree Audit Analyst with data entry in the degree audit system.
  • Provide general Office of the Registrar support daily, by answering the phone line queue.
  • Maintain accuracy, confidentiality and security of student files in alignment with FERPA regulations.
  • Assist in the interpretation and enforcement of university registration policies and procedures.
  • Assist in cross-training initiatives as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Anticipated Hiring Range

$15.00 - $16.79 per hour commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity.
