Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an Logistics Manager to support the Aerial Networks Division (AFLCMC/HNA) (HNA), Quick Reaction Capabilities Branch (HNAA) Mobility Air Forces Tactical Data Links (MAF-TDL) program office

LOCATION: Hanscom AFB, MA

JOB STATUS: Full time; salaried

TRAVEL: CONUS travel up to 10%

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Secret

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Extensive experience with defense acquisition management processes outlined in DoD 5000 series publications
  • Experience with the Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) system in a worldwide capacity
  • Familiarity with Product Support Business Case Analysis (PS-BCA) and Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) processes
  • Familiarity with the Logistics Health Assessment (LHA)
  • Knowledge of the DoD Product Support Manager Guidebook
  • Knowledge of department/agency policies and procedures related to the inventory and tracking of accountable property
  • Working knowledge of the acquisition lifecycle and product support planning during all phases
  • Working knowledge of the DoD's integrated logistics Product Support Element Structure
  • Proficient Microsoft office skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Ability to integrate the separate functions in planning or implementing a logistics management program
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) and 10 years of experience (5 years DoD), or 15 years of directly related experience (8 years DoD

JOB RESPONSBILITIES:

  • Participate in the weekly branch/program Integrated Logistics Support Working Group (ILSWG)
  • Provide logistics inputs for Acquisition Strategies, Statement of Work (SOW), System Requirements Documents (SRD), Request for Proposals (RFP), Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASP), and Program Management Reviews (PMR)
  • Review and comment on Contractor Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables
  • Provide transportation support/planning and required documents for domestic and overseas shipments
  • Enter all Government Furnished Property (GFP) into Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) for all BACN programs
  • Manage Customer Authorization/Custody Receipt Listing (CA/CRL) accounts for the Tactical Data Networks Lab, including Controlled Cryptographic Item (CCI) assets
  • Manage all technical order production, maintenance, and disposal functions as the Technical Order Management Authority (TOMA) for all branch programs using Enhanced Technical Management System (ETIMS)
  • Manage the Depot Source of Repair (DSOR) processes for appropriate branch programs
  • Assist in the implementation of robust logistics and sustainment support processes to address the lifecycle requirements of the MAF-TDL program
