Staff Pharmacist - Per Diem

As a Per Diem nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLCStaff Pharmacist, you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain the security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy, and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.
Schedule: This position can work up to 19 hours per week, providing coverage "as needed" with a minimum of 4 hours per month. This position will be required to cover weekends from 9 am -1 pm.
Starting Pay: $55 - $62 per hour, (Depending on related work experience).
About the Facility: Rockford Center is a 138-bed mental health facility located in Newark, DE, providing easy access to a full complement of inpatient and partial behavioral health programs for children and adolescents, adults, and older adults. Rockford is the only child inpatient behavioral health facility in DE, offers an experienced and tenured senior management team, and serves New Castle County and northern Maryland. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
About the Pharmacy: The pharmacy is openMonday through Friday from 8:00 am-4:00 pm; on Weekends 9:00 am-1:00 pm.
Required Qualifications:
- Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
- Current Pharmacist license in good standing in DE
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
- Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
- Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
- Effective communication skills; verbal and written
Hospital Requirements:
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
- (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
- Covid-19 Vaccine (may be required)
- HepB3 Series(or declination)
- FBI Fingerprinting
