Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Melbourne, FL. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that medical products and processes meet established specifications.
  • This role involves inspecting materials, components, and finished products, documenting findings, and working closely with various departments to address quality issues.
  • The Quality Inspector plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and safety of medical devices.
  • Perform activities associated with the non-confirming product process identification, containment, and segregation.
  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of materials, components, and finished products using established procedures and tools.
  • This includes visual, dimensional, and functional inspections to ensure compliance with product specifications.
  • Inspect labeling and packaging.
  • Utilize measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product dimensions and tolerances.
  • Read and understand technical information from Work Instructions, Drawings, and Specifications.
  • Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of findings.
  • Ensure that all inspection documentation is complete, accurate, and in compliance with company procedures.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in quality assurance.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and development in quality inspection techniques.
  • Ability to read technical documents.
  • Proficient in using measurement and inspection tools and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Certification in Quality Inspection (ASQ Certified Quality Inspector - CQI)

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
