Description

Responsibilities:



  • Provide dedicated support to the Program Element Monitor responsible for the Secretary of the Air Force, Special Programs (SAF/AQL) survivability portfolio
  • Work and collaborate on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and perform all functional duties independently
  • Execute analysis of survivability technologies and associated systems to include system acquisition and life cycle management for programming, budgeting, and security policy
  • Use your in-depth understanding of survivability, warfighter capability and requirements, DoD system acquisition, programs and defense policy to evaluate issues and provide recommendations up to the Director/GO/SES level on the portfolios security policy
  • Oversee the efforts of senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific project
  • Provide acquisition oversight and support portfolio management activities including working groups and integrated product teams
  • Interface with other DoD Services, Congress, industry, and other external offices and agencies


Required Skills and Experience:



  • 10+ years of relevant DoD work experience, including experience on survivability related programs, research and development, or advanced technologies
  • In-depth knowledge of manned and unmanned aircraft survivability and electronic warfare to include signature management in the RF/IR spectrum
  • DoD 5000.02 acquisition experience on one or more ACAT I and/or ACAT II acquisition programs for research, development, test, evaluation, production, modernization or lifecycle acquisition and sustainment activities of a DoD program
  • Working experience on a MAJCOM level or higher Staff Experience
    No less than two (2) years' experience in a Special Access Programs
  • Operational experience (DESIRED)
  • Strong communications skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a science, mathematics, engineering or related technical field

  • SCI environment within the last five (5) years
  • Master of Science (MS) Degree
