Position Function
Provide secretarial and administrative support for faculty and graduate students; organize and coordinate the work flow of students through the department offices.
Minimum Education
Eighteen months of specialized training or education beyond high school or equivalent.
Minimum Experience
One through three years of secretarial, office, or other related support experience; word processing and database software experience.
Minimum Other
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Job Duty
Support Program Directors:
* Assist in corresponding with applicants both before and after admission.
* Monitor SLATE database for incomplete admissions, track unenrolled students post-admission, and contact those students to help them
stay on track.
* Support graduate students in completing necessary forms (e.g., green
sheets) in a timely manner.

Travel Authorization and Reimbursement:
* Facilitate the completion of travel authorization forms and ensure timely
reimbursement processing.

Assist graduate students:
* Obtaining library privileges, request transcripts; apply to graduate.
* Maintain department records related to graduate and doctoral
assistants.
* Assist with problems or questions.

Assist faculty:
* Preparation of class materials. Copying tests.
* Acquire syllabi and making sure in compliance with Teachers college
requirements.
* Prepare, submit and maintain copies of grade change forms.
* Assist with minutes for committees.
* Monitor grade submissions and class lists sent by Registrar office.

Provide backup to AC:
* Supervising and supporting undergraduate student assistants.
* Advise regarding procedures and policies for the department.
* Maintaining the Educational Psychology website and program information.

* Receive and forward email faxes to appropriate faculty.
* Process all mail and overnight packages; check-in and track deliveries to the Educational Psych. Dept.
