Additional information can be found at www.ttm.com This position is responsible for control of inventory required for setup of jobs assigned to Surface Mount department as well as assignment of parts and inventory for Work Orders on the production floor. Candidate is responsible for accurate counts on inventory used to fulfill Work Orders as well as annual inventory counts when required by the company or customer. Responsible to operate automated surface mount equipment to solder electronic components on printed circuit boards. Responsible for the overall operation of machinery and offline setup including actions such as feeding materials for processing, adjusting settings, performing minor repairs and pulling finished product from the line. Checks and inspects operation results against predetermined tolerances. Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with SMT supervisor to plan direct and coordinate offline setup and SMT lines work schedules. Operate and train offline setup and SMT operations, ensuring employees are correctly tracking materials. Provide feedback on equipment issues and or failures. Develop and foster a teamwork environment, with the authority to stop lines as necessary. Adapt to changes in equipment, customers jobs and other unforeseen circumstances. Highlight material shortages, interface with stockroom and planning on any material issues that arise. Ensures processes and equipment remain acceptable within company manufacturing standards. Solder electronic components to the highest industry standards (IPC-A-610 Class III, J-STD-001 Class III). Visually check work in process for solder defects and makes adjustments as required. Clean printed circuit boards and equipment as necessary. Comprehend and follow instructions, read and understand blueprints. Communicate regularly to supervisor/managers. Work effectively and responsibly with others. Maintain cleanliness of the work area. Accomplish all job related processes and paperwork in the most accurate and ethical manner. Attends meetings, communicates regularly with managers and supervisors, attends special training, maintains a clean, safe work environment and communicates to supervisor safety hazards and issues. Follow all Company Safety and ESD Program requirements. Responsible to report all accidents, near misses, unsafe acts and unsafe conditions. Perform duties utilizing the required and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Full participation in safety training and the ability to understand and follow directions identified in the Job Safety Analysis (JSA), PPE Assessment, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and all Safety Procedures and Alerts. Properly handle and dispose all waste, including hazardous wastes that are generated in daily operations as directed by the EHS department All other assigned duties as required within the production organization. Regular attendance is an essential function of this position. Complete inventory cycle counts as assigned. Maintain all shelf life materials including MSD components. Maintain materials being returned from production area. This includes counts of returned inventory via X-ray counter or Manual count. Distribute inventory to Work Orders and fill Ticket Requests from Production floor pertaining to inventory in Offline Setup department. Follow First in First out procedure in place throughout the stockroom and production inventory. Accurately document part usage on each individual Work Order to maintain customer required traceability. I.E. Internal Lot numbers, EMFG logs ETC. Must be able to handle a fast paced environment with a high volume workload while maintaining organization and cleanliness of area

Good English skills, able to read, write and speak clearly. Ability to understand printed circuit board construction including reading assembly drawings, bill of materials and written work instructions. Must know how electronic components are oriented and distinguish the part numbers. Understand rules & requirements for proper handling of electronic components: Electrostatic Static Discharge (ESD). The candidate needs to be familiar with Institute for Printed Circuit (IPC) standards for correct soldering and rework methods, including soldering fine pitch surface mount technology (SMT) and through hole components. Ability to work up to 10 hours a day, 5 days a week and is flexible to work weekends. The availability to work extra hours at the company's request is mandatory. Good reading vision: ability to sit/stand for up to 10 hours daily. Ability to lift up to 25lbs. Ability to pass eye exam with a minimum 20/20 vision that may be corrected via eyeglasses or contact lenses as required. Eye exam is required annually. Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
