POSITION SUMMARY: The Research Assistant will perform qualitative research activities (conducting interviews, transcribing and coding data, and analyzing data using techniques like thematic analysis and grounded theory.) Conducts patient recruitment, administers questionnaires, abstracts medical records, maintains patient databases, performs administrative tasks, assists in grant preparation, performs literature searches, and participates with the research team in the preparation of data and other reports. May assist the principal investigator with translation to Spanish, interpreting experimental results, and preparing and writing manuscripts. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
