Job Overview

Are you looking to transition from theory to a tangible hands-on Internship? Look no further and join Skyworks Summer/Fall Co-Op (June 2025 - December 2025) program. Students graduating prior to December 2025 are not eligible for the program.

We are looking for self-motivated individuals, with a desire to learn. In this position we'll have a mentor to guide you and provide the foundational knowledge needed to shift from a classroom environment to employment.

In this internship you will be responsible to work closely with and under the supervision of the Quality Change Management team with contribution to every aspect of training design and development including, participation in stakeholder meetings, creation/development of training materials, reporting, and presentations of results.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensures the integrity of the quality management system when changes are made
  • Assist with aspects of Needs Analysis, Job/Task Analysis, and Front-End Analysis.
  • Assist with some aspects of creating design plans for training through all modalities of instruction (e.g., classroom based, WBT)-plans that include developing learning objectives, documenting minimum technical specifications (user and client), determining learning strategies and content flow, and determining testing/evaluation requirements and interactivity.
  • Develops instructor and student guides, scripts, and/or storyboards to include content and theme; defines media elements (graphics, animations, video, audio); and explains programming requirements.
  • Ability to produce graphics, animation, and/or audio/sound effects a plus.
  • May be requested to assist with presentation of materials created in a classroom training environment.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree inCommunications,Education field, or related Field
  • Must be enrolled in program throughout the Co-op.

Preferred Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to collect, analyze, and disseminate information with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of communication techniques and methods, including alternative ways to inform via written, oral, and visual media.
  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills including teamwork and time management.
  • Highly efficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Previous experience effectively establishing cross functional partnership.
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining web pages.

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
