You do not have to have previous instrument repair experience to be considered.We will train you! Why is the Repair Technician role crucial to our business and our Customers? Please Note:This position will be based primarily out of our repair lab in Seattle (Georgetown), but will also float to assist on mobile repair trucks within the area as needed. When working on one of the repair trucks, the technician will need to commute to one of these 3 locations in order to meet colleagues at the truck in the morning: Auburn, Tacoma, or Puyallup. This is a remote-based customer facing position. To support and service our customers in this assigned territory, candidates must be based out of one of the following states: Washington What You Will Do
* Perform basic to intermediate inspection and repairs on surgical instrumentation using grinding wheels, buffing wheels, various hand and power tools, soldering, etc. Complexity of repairs and level of intricacy will vary. Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail and willingness to learn will help you be successful in this role. What STERIS Can Offer You

High School Diploma or GED Required Experience
* 2+ years of work experience, including at least 1 year of relevant experience*, or 1 year of experience at STERIS. All experience must be verifiable. *What is relevant work experience? IND123 #LI-AC1 Pay range for this opportunity is$24-$26. Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc. Employees (and their families) may enroll in our company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, flexible spending, health savings account, voluntary benefits, supplemental life/AD&D plans and the company's 401k plan.
