Job Overview The Director, Brand Strategy - Private Brands is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive growth and profitability for the company's private label brands. This role requires a deep understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and the competitive landscape. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership, analytical, and strategic thinking skills. What You Will Do
Skills You Will Need Consumer Insight: Expertise in understanding consumer behavior, preferences, and trends to develop strategies that resonate with target audiences. Brand and Merchant Partnership: Proficiency in building and nurturing partnerships between brands and merchants to strengthen marketing efforts and drive growth. Strategic Marketing Planning and Execution: Ability to develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans that align with business objectives and sales targets, ensuring successful execution. Multi-Channel Marketing Expertise: Experience in creating and deploying marketing strategies across various channels, including digital, social media, experiential, and content marketing. Experiential Marketing Innovation: Skill in designing and executing engaging experiential marketing activations, such as events, pop-ups, and immersive brand experiences, to create buzz and deepen consumer engagement. Creative and Data-Driven Decision Making: Capacity to balance creative thinking with data analysis, using insights to inform and optimize marketing strategies. End-to-End Consumer Journey Management: Ability to continuously refine and evolve the consumer journey, ensuring effective engagement across all touchpoints and channels. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Coordination: Strong ability to work with diverse teams, including merchandising, creative, and marketing, to synchronize brand messaging and product priorities. Brand Re-imagination and Innovation: Proficiency in revitalizing and reimagining brands, leveraging innovative strategies to differentiate them in a competitive market. Retail Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of the retail marketing landscape, including experience in bringing brands to life and connecting with specific shopper segments.
