Duties: *Regularly teaching courses from among the following areas: Script Analysis, Theatre History, Theatre Education. Teaching may also include appreciation courses and/or a secondary focus area. *Active pursuit of a research/creative agenda leading to published scholarship, professional publications, juried presentations, and/or professional creative work. *Service to the department, university, regional, and national organizations are expected. ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT The Department of Theatre provides a professional training program dedicated to carefully nurturing a select group of theatre artists. Expert faculty members mentor students in classes as well as in one-to-one settings. Students are provided with a full range of learning opportunities including concentrations in acting, costume design, directing, lighting design, playwriting and scene design.
