As the Senior Manager of Governance under the guidance of the Senior Director of Indirect Procurement Center of Excellence and Procurement Operations, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulations. Dive into a world of innovation as you develop and implement cutting-edge process excellence initiatives and standard procedures to drive efficiency and foster continuous improvement. Take on a pivotal role in training and development, crafting and delivering dynamic programs to elevate skills and knowledge. Collaborate with dynamic cross-functional teams to establish and uphold governance frameworks that encompass risk management, performance metrics, and vendor evaluation processes. Step into a role where audits and assessments are your tools to monitor compliance, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and proactively mitigate risks.

  • Develops and maintains procurement policies, procedures, and guidelines and monitor compliance
  • Analyzes process workflows to identify bottlenecks / improvement opportunities and implement process excellence initiatives to enhance efficiency, standardization, and effectiveness in operations
  • Responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of SOPs
  • Designs and delivers training and onboarding programs to educate and upskill procurement teams on best practices, policies, and procedures
  • Acts as a liaison to HR department regarding updated policies and framework
  • Conducts workshops to educate procurement teams on new policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring compliance and enhancing skills
  • Conducts regular audits and assessments to monitor compliance, identify gaps, and mitigate risks in procurement activities
  • Reviews and updates procurement policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure alignment with changing business needs and industry regulations
  • Develops and maintains governance frameworks, including risk management, performance metrics, and vendor evaluation processes
  • Works closely with the Procurement Operations specialists to understand stakeholder inquiries and issues that may need to be addressed in policies and trainings

Requirements:

Educational requirements include a bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain or finance. Preferably five (5) years of experience in a sourcing organization, supporting internal stakeholders, sourcing, and/or category management. Knowledge of procure to pay platforms. Strong relationships within the organization that can be leveraged. Previous supervisory experience.

  • Knowledge of cultural differences and business practices globally
  • Ability to deal with confrontational issues in a positive manner
  • Ability to manage direct reports and foster an effective, collaborative work environment
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and ability to apply the appropriate tools and level of analysis to specific situations
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Outstanding collaboration skills with a demonstrated ability to drive cross functional input on key decisions and influence stakeholders to make decisions that maximize organization versus departmental benefits
  • Outstanding critical thinking skills to evaluate business problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions and prioritization
  • Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to effectively manage multiple projects of various diverse scope in a cross-functional environment
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Knowledge of computers to operative effectively with PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Outlook
  • Ability to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices
