The Temporary Senior Clinician is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Wediko NY's programming and all Mental Health Prevention and Intervention Programs at a grade school in Far Rockaway, Queens three days a week, eight hours a day, 24 hours per week. The salary range is $30-$34 an hour. The Senior Clinician position is a temporary position while an employee is out on leave. Position starts in middle/end of November and will run at least through March, end date to be determined. The Senior Clinician is on-site at the school 3 days a week and is responsible for provision of multi-tiered mental health programming support and services (at the universal and selective levels), and clinical consultation. The Senior Clinician is responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating, and implementing the initiative's strategies, services, and resources in consultation with the principal and the School Leadership Team (SLT). The Senior Clinician liaises with the school, other Community Based Organization (CBO) partners and vendors, and city agencies on behalf of the initiative at the school level; participates in the development and manages the implementation of MHPIP plans consistent with the expectations of the principal.
