Join the HJF Team!

HJF is seeking a Grants Coordinator to assist Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) Grants Specialists and Director with records tracking, compliance follow up, and other administrative duties. This position will be in support of the Office of Sponsored Programs.

The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine (HJF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing military medicine. We serve military, medical, academic and government clients by administering, managing and supporting preeminent scientific programs that benefit members of the armed forces and civilians alike. Since its founding in 1983, HJF has served as a vital link between the military medical community and its federal and private partners. HJF's support and administrative capabilities allow military medical researchers and clinicians to maintain their scientific focus and accomplish their research goals.


Responsibilities

  • Tracks status for upcoming proposal, award status, and modification status in different database systems.
  • Assists Grants Specialists with agreement dissemination, Regulatory Affairs approval tracking, and report tracking.
  • Assists Grants Specialists with compliance tracking.
  • Checks group email box and disseminates emails to appropriate parties.
  • Assists Grants Specialists with general letters, kick-off packages, and submissions.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor. This may include attendance of and participation in required training for role.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 0-2 years experience required.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficient in basic Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications, ability to operate different database systems.
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, and computer skills.

Work Environment

  • This position will take place primarily in an office setting.

Compensation

  • The hourly pay range for this position is $20.99-$26.44. Actual hourly pay will be determined based on experience, education, etc.
