About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician to join our Team! As a Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our patients, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and developing treatment plans. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. Your expertise and dedication will be critical in helping us achieve our mission of providing exceptional healthcare services to our community.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
  • Current and unrestricted medical license in the District of Columbia
  • Board certification in a relevant medical specialty
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a community health center or similar setting
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a practicing physician
  • Fluency in Spanish or Amharic
  • Experience working with underserved populations
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuing medical education and professional development

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive medical evaluations and assessments of patients
  • Diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records

Skills:

As a Physician, you will utilize your extensive medical knowledge and clinical skills on a daily basis to provide exceptional care to our patients. You will need to have excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, as you will be working closely with other healthcare professionals and interacting with patients from diverse backgrounds. Additionally, proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and a commitment to ongoing professional development will be critical to your success in this role.
